Objective 1: Obtain Carbon Neutrality • Lower Energy Usage • Pursue Renewable Energy Options and Carbon Offsets • Reduce Transportation Emissions Measurement: Reduce consumption 20% from baseline year by 2025.
Objective 2: Reduce Waste • Establish day-to-day practices and guidelines that reduce and eliminate landfill waste streams and/or improve recycling rates. • Identify opportunities that would change current landfill waste items to recyclable or reusable items. • Measurement: Reduce the waste the College produces by 25% from baseline year by 2025.
Objective 3: Improve Water Quality & Conservation • Identify operational processes and capital projects to improve water use efficiency and/or reduce usage. • Stormwater Management- Design and construct parking and landscaping to implement stormwater runoff best management practices. Measurement: Reduce potable water usage by 5% from baseline year by 2025.
