Credit Transfer Rules If the course(s) you are seeking preapproval for is/are NOT ECTS-based, you are obligated to find the correct documentation for the number of credits/points/units which covers a full time semester at the foreign university. Use this formula: (University X requires 120 credits to obtain a bachelor degree. The bachelor degree takes 4 years to complete (8 semesters).
