The general first idea was to have a playful ghost flying around a building for their own enjoyment. The story of the ghost then became more prominent as I developed my storyboards. The ghost was looking for a place to haunt and found this old worn out castle, as he began playing, while turning into shapes of rockets and umbrellas and such.
I wanted to get good a feel to the area as well as make planned shots.
A few rough storyboards describing the story of the ghost .

If I cannot make my character unique or be able to form the shapes I wish for the 3D animation it would be a disaster. - However, I’d try counter it by looking outside the box a bit more and research if there is anything other than a cloth modifier, that would work. Or contemplate animating the character 2D on Photoshop, while giving it a detailed look. My photos from the castle would not up to scratch, and would make my work look shabby. - I would attempt to bluff it and look at how digital painting helps with Matte Painting to improve the quality of it. The render times at the end are too extreme and are over the limit of time allowed. – I would try to predict it in my timetable and remember to give myself a few more extra days before the hand in date. I could also bring down the quality of the work, as a last resort and use that for the bases of the project, while sending the HD resolution version later once it is complete.
