What is EPOS? EPOS is a long-term plan for the integration of research infrastructures for solid Earth Science in Europe EPOS integrates the existing (and future) advanced European facilities into a single , distributed, sustainable infrastructure taking full advantage of new e-science opportunities
Conclusion: cooperative approach 1. EPOS promotes an IT/scientists cooperative approach 2. It implies the discussion about procurement policies for accessing HPC & HTC resources 3. Coherence of DMP and technical architecture 1. Legalistic issues (IPR, data policy and access rules) 2. Governance (TCS, autonomous and in coordination with ERIC) 3. Technical and financial sustainability 4. Urgency of collecting technical (metadata, architecture…), legal (data policies) and governance information from ENVRIplus community -> WIP
