  7. ENERTOPIA Lithium Extraction Technology (ENERLET) Enertopia Corp has entered into a Definitive Commercialization Licensing Agreement with US based Genesis Water Technologies Inc. (GWT), an water purification company that specializes in oil and Gas and mine water treatment. Enertopia has partnered with GWT’s technology and development arm to fast track development of the ENERLET technology for the recovery of Lithium from brines.

  8. Next steps for ENERLET Technology  Phase One bench testing underway for recovery and purity of Li2CO3.  Based on successful bench test results phase two bench test will be based on brine from sample locations for future pilot plant location.  Bench test data will be used for determining processing locations for brine and or Lithium hosted in soils.  ENERLET Plant design is scalable to meet any brine reservoir size.

  9. Benefits of ENERLET Technology SUMMARY OF DEAL TERMS  GWT to provide access to its patent pending (ENERLET) process.  GWT will work to provide an efficientsolution to concentrate and produce battery grade lithium.  GWT to provide management andtechnical expertise.  Initial 7yr licensing agreement with additional 10yr option. BENEFITS OF TRANSACTION • Provides Enertopia with licensing rights to use of technology and relicensing rights for future multiple revenue streams. • Potential fast-track to early production with access to GWT’s technology and management services. • Capex and Opex minimized as no need to build separate LCE plant or extensive, high cost solar evaporation ponds. • Broader range of brines amenable to production using (LET) is expected.

  12. Technology Changes Everything  On June 28, 2016 Enertopia announced phase one results from its due diligence that incorporated four different historical sample data from enriched Li brines, three of which were from Oil & Gas wells.  Using the latest technologies the independent water recovery specialists reported back to Enertopia that it was technically economically feasible to use today’s modern technology to process the Lithium in the brine into high purity 99.5% Li2CO3 (Lithium carbonate). Above is a picture of just one aspect of one of the modular units that would be used in the recovery of Li from brine waters.
