DEVELOPMENT • Drawings to usable motifs on Photoshop • My drawings informed my garment shapes
WHAT I HAVE LEARNT • To be more experimental - yet commercial • Putting my prints all together on one page helped to see what was successful and what was not • To keep the customer and brand in mind when designing • To create professional portfolio pages • To keep referring back to my research constantly to help my prints develop further
WHAT CAN I IMPROVE • Annotation within my sketchbook – this will help when I am reflecting on my blog and make it easier for the marker to see development and how my work links. • Innovation – I need to push myself to make my designs new, exciting and fresh. This is important within the industry as it is how you become remembered • Presentation skills • Referring back to research
