The decision on the request is made by the Dean of the student's home faculty. The permission is valid until the circumstance giving rise to the request ceases, but no later than the end of the semester. Note: (a) above means you can complete the semester online until you arrive in Budapest, which may only happen in Feb 2021 (for your second semester)
Reminder • We can guarantee on campus classes to those who arrive during the orientation week (closing on 4 Sept) • Why? Because we have limited classroom capacities (6-10 students instead of 15), it is no easy finding teachers, etc. • If you arrive later, there may be room for you in on campus classes, but we can’t guarantee it • You should arrive by mid September • End of Sept for SH students • If you cannot arrive by mid Sept (visa, flight, etc., issues), consider postponing your studies until Feb 2021 or ask for online education and complete the first semester online, and then arrive in Feb after your visa has come through in Sept/Oct (or later). Not ideal, but better than nothing. • REMINDER: do NOT plan to arrive for classes in October, November (registration will be IMPOSSIBLE) • Why? Our absence policy: by October you will have missed 30% of the classes • If you decide to complete the first semester online, hand in REQUEST (find word form in this team) asap
