ACADEMICS • Popular SPIN classes: Grammar & Vocabulary, Vocabulary through Sitcoms, Pronunciation, Life Skills • We accept junior students during the summer both as individual students and also groups (Check Globalnet for intake dates) • We are an accredited Cambridge Center and offer the full Cambridge exam courses (First and Advanced). CPE will be offered based on student demand. • Students can also choose the TOEFL Exam course SPINS • Lounge on every floor that can be used to studying outside of the dorm room.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM • The primary goal of the Volunteership is for students to practice using English in an authentic professional environment • Volunteer programs are not guaranteed in a specific industry as the aim is to learn English through an American workplace • Students need to be at least 18 years old, B2-1 level or higher, maintain a B+ average and 80% attendance in their EF courses • Only a minimum of eight-week course bookings apply • Volunteership preparation includes: - Effective resume and cover letter writing - Basic interview skills coaching - Employment research - Certificate upon fulfillment of all the requirements • Examples of current Volunteership Placements: - Being Fit - Advanced Feedback - Expedition America - YALLA (Youth and Leaders Living Actively) - CornerStone Development Group
