Current State Efforts to Improve Outcomes • Establish and refine Pennsylvania’s statewide postsecondary attainment goal and benchmarks • Working to expand pathways to high school graduation beyond the Keystone Exams • Sharing new data on career readiness, industry-based learning, and postsecondary outcomes through the Future Ready PA Index, the state’s new K -12 school progress report. • Postsecondary access and completion initiatives: – College Application Campaign – FAFSA Completion Campaigns – Complete College America strategy analysis – PA College Credit Transfer System 6/8/2018 7

What We Still Want to Explore • Student Subgroup Attainment Gaps – How are we closing the equity gaps at different points in students’ educational pathways? – How are early gaps compounding along pathways and affecting overall population attainment? • Regional Workforce Projections – What are the expected degree and credential needs of localized workforce areas? • Some College No Degree Population Analysis – How do we effectively re-engage the geographically and demographically diverse adult population who began but did not complete their degree or credential? 6/8/2018 8
