EDISON BASEBALL 2016 SEASON
Thank you for Donations • The Baseball Program expenses include but are not limited to: league fees, umpire fees, baseballs, field maintenance, coaching stipends, and equipment. • In addition your player is actively involved in the sport with continued conditioning, coaching instruction, and games during the fall and summer. • We are very grateful for your voluntary donation. Without voluntary contributions from our families our program would not be able to fund itself. • Many other teams ask for a larger donations, however we use more fundraising events as a way to reduce cost to individuals families. • We attempt to have all fundraisers provide some benefit to the participant involved.

“Leadoff Dinner Night at the Races” • Event will be held February 26th at Los Alamitos Racetrack beginning at 6pm. • Players are required to sell a minimum of 3 seats at $65 each, including their own as attendance is mandatory. • The ticket includes the following; Parking, Ticket to the Races, and a Buffet Dinner. • Coach Chinn will be the Master of Ceremonies • If a player sells 10 seats they will receive a $50 player credit towards their player account. • We request Silent Auction Items or Services that can be auctioned turned in Saturday, February 6 th . • Seat sales turn in are due February 6 th between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. • FUNDRAISING EVENT GOAL $6,000

• EDISON BASEBALL ADVERTISEMENT SALES • DEADLINE: End of FEBRUARY • • Every year Edison Baseball offers advertisement space to individuals and businesses in the Edison Baseball Media Guide and on EHS Field Banners . The advertisements allow businesses to show their support or families to show their spirit, while raising funds directly benefiting Edison Baseball. • You may solicit business associates, doctors, dentists, friends, and family for advertisements in the Edison Baseball Media Guide and on the EHS Field Banners ; or you may purchase a family ad for a personal message to your player. (Please note: any player who previously procured an advertiser has first right to renew that advertisement, list will be provided). • Each player receives an Advertising Packet as follows: • Edison Chargers Baseball - Media Guide and Field Banner Order Form • Edison Chargers Baseball – Media Guide Advertisement Size & Pricing. • An email will be sent to you with PDF files of the forms so that you can make additional copies or email your forms to your contacts. • The forms will be on the website for download.
Media Guide and Banner Sales Each player is requested to sell $150 worth of Advertising/ Banners. • Banner Sales packets are due February 13th • All Sales over $150 receive player credit towards fees or the Japan trip • All players meeting the $150 sales goal will receive 1 Media Guide • Additional Guides are $30 • Pictures will be taken on February 13th, at 7am • Picture packets will be sold independent of the Booster Club • Total Fundraising Goal is $4,000
Community Events • Christmas Tree Donation to “Project Self Sufficiency” • Resolution Run, Dec. 13 th • SAC Game April 16th • Alumni Game, February 6th • Pink Ribbon Game April 27th, players wear Pink, need a parent to be the chairperson • Raised $1,000 for Breast Cancer last year between Varsity and JV games • Teacher Appreciation Game • EHS Support Day • Senior Recognition Game, May 10 th vs. Newport Harbor
Parents Hosting Pre game Dinners • Parents volunteer to host a dinner at their home the evening before a League Home Game. • One Dinner per team (Frosh, JV, Varsity) • Parent Rep from each team will help coordinate • Sign up at the table this evening
SPECIAL EVENT • The Varsity Team will play on Friday, April 29th against Huntington at Angel Stadium. • All Players are requested to sell 10 Angel Ticket Vouchers at $20 each. • Any player that reaches this goal will get the player and two guests into our Year End Banquet for Free, this is $60 value. • Any player that sell 30 tickets will also receive a $50 credit to be used towards Summer Ball. • Vouchers are good for most games between April and June . More info to come.
