Agriculture – Adjustment after first year GROVE A&B PROJECT • Permits – Caltrans right-of-way access – Traget - Pest Control Recommendation PLANNING THE PROJECT Grove A & B • Meetings • Before- tree cutting of Eucalyptus Trees in – Permit agencies ( PG&E power lines, Caltrans, Pest Grove A&B prescription ) • Grove A- very dense – Environmental Concern groups • Support Groups – San Mateo County Agriculture – Friend of Edgewood – California Native Plant Society – Sequoia Audubon Society CONTRACT BID Dave Tree Service • Davey Tree for year 2002 and 2004 • September 2002 Davey Tree Service – One day project, lowest bid, did not need to use Caltrans right-of- cutting and chipping way permit trees. Did not treat • West Coast Wildlands stumps with herbicide. – Re-cut and treat stumps San Mateo County Parks Project 1
