East Side Adult Education Mission Statement The East Side Adult Education Program will provide a learning environment which fosters student success, encourages life-long education, and meets changing community needs.
ESAE: Organized for Efficiency & Economic Feasibility Serving the attendance area of the East Side Union High School District Classes extend from Piedmont Hills High School in north to Santa Teresa High School in the south Three main campus sites anchor 32 satellite sites throughout the District Evening Classes are taught at East Side High Schools Classes at satellite sites are offered in partnership with other agencies to be economically feasible 16 th Largest Adult Education in California
Main Sites: Independence Adult Center Serving the northern community since 1988 Day and evening classes Programs include: High School Diploma ESL Adult Basic Literacy Career Technical Education Life Long Learning Community Education Study at Home (ESL)
Main Sites: Overfelt Adult Center OAC serves the central area of the District OAC is a hub supporting the neighborhood for 23 years Programs include: High School Diploma ESL Parenting
Satellite Site: Andrew Hill High School Serve southern community since 1988 Night campus only Programs include; High School Diploma ESL Adult Basic Literacy
