The Global Center for School Counseling Outcome Research Evaluation & Development (GCSCORED) • GCSCORED is an organization focused on global educational research, evaluation, and development. • The mission is to transform lives and create safer communities through the use of research, education, counseling, evaluation, and development. 2
The Global Center for School Counseling Outcome Research Evaluation & Development (GCSCORED) • We partner with children, youth, and adults from diverse settings and societies both locally and globally. • We provide customized program evaluations and trainings to help these advocates transform lives and create safer communities. • Collaborates with local and global institutions, (educational, human & social services, public health, law enforcement, etc.) agencies, and communities. 3
The Global Center for School Counseling Outcome Research Evaluation & Development (GCSCORED) • To identify and understand symptoms of trauma. • To understand the link between community violence and other sources of trauma. • Implement interventions to provide students with effective support and school success strategies. • To utilize an evidence and research based social emotional framework (CSS™). • To provide culturally responsive strategies to address trauma of all stakeholders in the SPARKS schools. 4
