  3. New American Connections for BALH BALH is delighted to announce a new link with the American Association of State and Local History (AASLH). The aim is to share interests and information, and to identify possible joint activities- discussions, exchanges and projects. The connection has developed from a successful collaboration as partners in the 2014 Anglo- American Conference of Historians, held in July at the Institute of Historical Research in London on the theme of The Great War at Home. The wider link has started with the exchange of news and publications through a corresponding member on each side.
