Dislocated Worker Grant Funds and Activities CompTIA Pilot Project (100 DLWs) Aims to strategically upskill DLWs for employment in the IT industry through online training, including the expansion of the talent pipeline for the military, government contractors, and other IT employers across the state. • State-of-the-art Online virtual IT training tool with industry teacher/mentor assigned • A+ Certification with career ladder options for Network+ and Security+ • Partnership includes Job placement services with 45 Oklahoma companies who hire people with these specific qualification Virtual Training Activities (250 DLWs) Virtual training services will be provided to eligible dislocated workers. Priority will be given to workers dislocated from the restaurant, hospitality, and retail industries. Humanitarian Relief Employment This part of the project will hire people to work in and Support food banks, food prep and food delivery to vulnerable populations. Supportive Services Child care, transportation, rental assistance and PPE required for employment
