  2. Renewing Our Streets and Suburbs Renewing Our Streets and Suburbs is renewing housing to offer more choice, better housing and better connected communities in South Australia. Renewal of 4500 Housing • Trust homes within 10km of the city by 2020 200 homes to have • kitchen and bathroom upgrades Delivery of 1000 Housing • Trust homes in 1000 days Transferring property • management of 5000 Housing Trust homes to Community Housing Providers

Renewal of SA Housing Trust stock  63,000 to 42,000  30% SAHT homes built pre-1968  2,000 in need of emergency housing  60% of tenants are single person households  55% of public housing tenants are aged over 55 years  56% of tenants have at least one disability  Only 17% of tenants are working

  4. Dwelling types More targeted housing for:  Single occupiers  Aged  Disability  Integrated to Community  Closer to transport Partnerships between Developers and Community Housing Providers to maximise social housing outcomes

Renewing Our Streets and Suburbs - Progress Renewal of 4500 homes  560 development opportunities have been released to date  Which will deliver 1160 new dwellings  Total program will deliver 7600 new dwellings 1000 Homes in 1000 days  108 homes under construction 200 kitchen and bathroom upgrades  All under contract 5000 transfers  1100 complete  3900 to be released

Current Development Opportunities Expressions of Interest – just released: Woodville Gardens Approximately 5.2 hectares, 9km from the CBD Rosslyn Court, Parkside Approximately 8,567sqm, 2.7km from the city Devon Park and Prospect Two opportunities: both sites within 4km of the CBD and located on bus corridors
