National Economic Outlook • 11.3 million private sector jobs were created under President Obama. • American households have recovered more than $30 trillion in net worth since 2009. • U.S. consumer confidence rose to 98.5 in January 2017 – the highest reading since January 2004. • The U.S. is leading the world in both oil and natural gas production, contributing to a roughly 40% drop in oil prices over the second half of 2014.
