FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR MODERNIZATION OF THE PUBLIC PORT OF BRATISLAVA Expected project duration: 2019 – 2020 ▪ The aim of the project – elaborate the feasibility study ▪ including EIA and CBA ▪ The feasibility study will assess the needs to modernize or build the following elements: ➢ Ports and nautical equipment in the basin Pálenisko, Winter port and Passenger port Ground slope with equipment (bollards, stairs, engineering facilities – water, ➢ electricity, sewerage) Depths in port basins ➢
CONSTRUCTION OF THE LNG TERMINAL IN PUBLIC PORT BRATISLAVA: PRE-PROJECT PREPARATION Expected project duration: 2018 Environment impacts: *Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area Call for a reduction in oil dependency Reduce greenhouse gas emissions in transport by 60% until 2050 compared to 1990 levels *EU strategic documents – natural gas in the form of CNG, LNG is the best-prepared alternative fuel for transport The main activity of the project is the development of a feasibility study for the construction of the LNG terminal in the Bratislava public port: Technical study, Safety documentation for selected technology, CBA, EIA The feasibility study identifies the most suitable technologyfor the production and distribution of LNG - environmental, economic and safety point of view - distribution chain relationships

PROTECTION OF PORTS: PRE-PROJECT PREPARATION Expected project duration: 2018 – 2019 Environmental impact: ➢ Dangerous substances and hazardous substances are permanently occured Pre-project preparation consists of two parts ➢ Port monitoring system ➢ Port emergency measures The elaboration of technical and economic studies: ➢ strengthening the monitoring of the Bratislava and Komárno public port areas ➢ identifying the security measures that can be applied in this specific area ➢ the distribution of navigation conditions information as well as the situation in the cargo port, navigating to the port and exchanging information about safety The technical and economic study will be processed with the following extent: ➢ Identifying and designing a monitoring system for ports in the TEN-T core network ➢ Design of parameters of the monitoring system ➢ Setting up a monitoring system co-operation ➢ Defining the requirements
PROTECTION OF PORTS: CONSTRUCTION PART Two main activities: Construction of port monitoring system- design a comprehensive system for port monitoring of the port in TEN-T core network.
