  9. Victoria’s Great Outdoors • The Victoria’s Great Outdoors program is a $105.6 million investment by the Victorian Government into better forests, parks, campgrounds, caravan parks, tracks and outdoor facilities. • The Great Outdoors package will help more Victorians, from all walks of life, get out and explore the great outdoors and feel the health benefits of spending time in nature. • We’re making it easier to get into nature through: cheaper camping, better facilities, new and upgraded campgrounds, caravan parks, tracks and trails, upgraded 4WD tracks and a new coastal park on Victoria’s Bass Coast . 9

  17. Access and Infrastructure Plan What is it? • It is a report that will outline the connections (access) and physical features (infrastructure) needed along the San Remo to Inverloch trail • Looks at infrastructure such as crossing points along the trail, a possible camping site and car parking. It also considers access: how people will get to places along the trail such as between trail and the car park, and the trail and the beach • The objective is to make the trail a continuous and accessible journey. 17

  18. Access and Infrastructure Plan • The Access and Infrastructure Plan is specifically about the trail between San Remo and Inverloch • A range of technical studies will provide information about the natural influences on the trail and how best to address them, and manage impact 18 Get a higher resolution map at: https://engage.vic.gov.au/yallock-bulluk-marine-and-coastal-park-access-and-infrastructure-plan#lg=1&slide=0

  19. Access and Infrastructure Plan The Access and Infrastructure Plan will be informed by stakeholder and community engagement, and a range of technical studies. It will include information about visitor areas, facilities, proposed walking trail routes and the various experiences people may have in the park. Including: Aboriginal and post-colonial heritage studies Community and Environmental studies Stakeholder engagement Local traffic and car parking studies Technical studies Statutory planning Universal access studies Demographic and future visitor projections Budget and financial Geotechnical investigations factors Coastal processes and hydrological impacts Access and Objective: to make the trail a continuous and accessible journey Infrastructure Plan 19
