Overview of CAN programs Community Building: - Community Events (holiday parties, back to school bbq’s, game nights, etc) - Resident councils - Gifts & school supplies - Community clean-up’s - Community Gardens
GBC: Green Baxter Court - Location closest to you! - 1727 Green Road - 23 single family public housing units - All GBC residents have access to CAN resources (a large majority of residents use at least one CAN service) - CAN services are completely free to all clients
GBC Updates & Upcoming Activities - New Community Center Director: Harrison Metzler (hmetzler@canannarbor.org - Community Garden will be starting again in the Spring - We could use help with that project! - Summer Camp begins June 24th - August 1st - Food & volunteers needed! You can volunteer by emailing volunteers@canannarbor.org Summer Camp volunteers help students through multiple academic rotations: reading, geography, and math! If you cannot volunteer in person, you can drop off meals or snacks for campers!
