Work to date… AUGUST • Initial presentations with needs analysis and evidence base to develop workshop themes based on feedback • 3 workshops – Tackling Poverty, Healthy & Thriving Communities, Prevention & Early Help - helped develop the services set out in the draft specification • ‘Prevention & Early Help’ services were not strong enough for a separate theme, but services were merged into other appropriate areas

  22. CONSULTATION APPROACH & TIMETABLE 12 WEEK CONSULTATION PERIOD began 24 July, ends 16 October • Consultation sessions 8 & 15 September • 2nd draft Narrowing the Gap Framework – early Oct. • Consultation session 6 October • Individual surgeries offered on what it means for each organisation

  23. BIDDING PROCESS AND NOTICE PERIOD November 2015 2 nd - Policy Committee considers Final Framework report and sets draft budget 4 th – Bidding begins (9 I/2 weeks) January 2016 8 th – Bidding closes Followed by bidding appraisal & clarification February 2016 Bids approved and 3 months notice served (successful and unsuccessful)
