  5. FAIRPORT HARBOR / NATURAL GAS FIRE / EVACUATION January, 2011 – Snow and Ice 1,500 Homes Involved / Possible Furnace Damage 200 Homes Damaged by Fires Multiple Fire Locations Evacuation of many homes around the fires required.

  6. CITY OF ROCKY RIVER 195 HOMES WITHOUT GAS January 30, 2019 Record low temperatures – expected: -33; Investigations begin immediately Water is entering the gas line (no over-pressurization) No ETA on repairs. No fires – no over-pressurization of gas lines.

CERT VOLUNTEERS WERE AMAZING! • Were prepared – dressed appropriately; • Were kind, empathetic but on task; • Were upbeat, supportive and patient – did not create anxiety; • Worked longer than we asked – into the night; • Did ask questions (!); • Were efficient (may be weather related); • Made special notes on form; • Data collected was valuable.
