Alfred Child & Youth Mental Health Service Vision : Alfred CYMHS to lead the development of a system of care (0-25) that is co-ordinated, integrated, responsive and informed by best practice. Victorian context is one of population based funding and services are responsible for a particular catchment area. System of devolved governance which encourages innovation but also means different structures / system operations across Melbourne. Has lead to different services being provided depending on where you live.

Day 1 • Meet and greet • Introduction to CYMHS and headspace and the service system context • Mentalisation Based Therapy – information session for clinicians, young people and families • Families Fighting Anorexia – ½ day co-delivered education session for families and clinicians • What is it about Medication – headspace Discovery College Course
Day 2 • Recap and group reflection on previous day • Out of home care – session plan • Serious Incident Review Panel – observation of a panel meeting finalising a review of a serious clinical incident/case • Multi Disciplinary Clinical Team Meeting - enhancing the first family session experience for families and clinicians • Single Session Family Consultation – observe and participate in a reflecting team • Wrap up and reflection - exchange
