Many heads are the best.  Linking of Veterans Memorial Medical Center Eye Clinic and other Ophthalmologic institutions in the Philippines  High-Speed internet cables installed for resolution demonstration and consultation of Surgical Ophthalmologic cases  Bridging the gap of missed learning between various institutions BRANCHING OUT Veterans Memorial Medical Center  IN SUMMARY  The VMMC Department of Ophthalmology is peristent in promoting Telemedicine as a valuable learning and training tool  There have been some hurdles encountered which are already being addressed  With continued support of the DOST -ASTI, our Department will continue to push for the development and promotion of knowledge sharing through telemdicine The 7th Asia Telemedicine Symposium, 2013 7
