  3. Transportation-by air ● Round-Trip flights by Delta airlines flights 561 and 560 ● Baggage ○ 1 suitcase per person ○ 2 carry on items ■ one overhead ■ one personal item under/in seat

  4. Passports Takes 4-6 weeks to process: ● Adults ○ New $135 ○ Renew $110 ■ every 10 years ● Scouts ○ New/Renew $105 ■ every 5 years

  5. Transportation-by land ● 7-Day Bus and Ferry Passes: Unlimited Rides ● Walk: the Bermuda Railway Trail and Tribe Roads ● Mountain Bikes: to see the sites of Bermuda

  6. Transportation-by sea ● Ferry Rides to/from: ○ Hamilton ○ St. George’s ○ Dockyard

  7. Food ● Transported from New Jersey to Bermuda by the Leon V. Amis Shipping Company ● Container will have food stored in a safe location, in Bermuda.

  8. “Housing” We will have three campsites during the week(s). Listed in nights below. ● Friday-Sunday: St. Andrews Church ● Monday-Wednesday: Messina House ● Thursday-Friday: If available, on a beach. If not: Amis Memorial Chapel

  9. Attractions possible activities may include: ● National Maritime Museum ● Bermuda Railway Trail ● Gibbs Hill Lighthouse ● Crystal Caves ● Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo ● Jet Skiing

  10. Cup Match Do you like sports???? The annual smackdown between the two cricket teams of Bermuda, the east and the west, will be taking place while observe in the crowd.

  11. The National OLYMPIC-SIZE POOL Scouts will get a chance to swim in an olympic-sized pool. We hope to get a chance to earn some of the requirements for the swimming and lifesaving merit badges.

  12. Possible Merit Badges to partially complete: ● Cycling ● Citizenship in the World ● Hiking ● Backpacking ● Camping ● Swimming

  13. New Gear Purchases ● Fluorescent Pink T-Shirts ○ Custom made for this trip ● Fluorescent Pink Hats ○ Custom made for this trip

  14. Preparation and Training Activities ● Hiking/Bicycling: – various dates – Deerfield, Blue Hills, Boston Harbor, Cape Cod ● Camping/Public Transportation: Nantucket and other locations.

  15. Emergencies ● All adults will have taken Youth Protection Training, and will have basic First Aid skills. ● We will have multiple phones available at all times in case of needing to call an ambulance, the police, or the fire department

  16. Emergencies (cont.) In case of medical emergency: ● The person will be transported to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.

  17. The Budget 1. Total Price is $1,100 a. May be paid in full b. May be paid in 4 installments of $275 i. March 22 ii. April 12 iii. May 3 iv. May 31 2. All Payments are due by June 1st.
