Friarsgate Interconnection and Decommissioning • Blue Granite Water Company invested approximately $4.2 million dollars for the interconnection and decommissioning of the Friarsgate Wastewater Treatment Plant. • On April 1, 2019 the facility was officially connected with the City of Columbia and wastewater was being delivered to the City’s regional plant. • The decommissioning process was completed on December 20, 2019.
