  2. BGE Frankford Avenue Walking Path Project Background - Walking path begins at Frankford Avenue and Force Road and connects at Sinclair Lane. - Walking path has been in BGE plans for 15+ years and is located within BGE Right-of-Way (ROW). - BGE has met with the community and community leadership over the past several years about the walking path. - In early May 2020, letters were mailed out to the community to inform them that the installation of the walking path would begin in mid-May. The walking path installation was completed in mid-June. - Updated project signs have been installed along the ROW with project contact information. - As of today, wildflower planting beds are scheduled to be installed along the ROW in late September/early October 2020. - Working with Baltimore City, the options for the path restricted the use of impervious surface. In addition, a paved or concrete surface would not allow BGE to maintain its underground equipment in this area. 2

  7. BGE Frankford Avenue Walking Path Wildflower Plantings - BGE is listening to the community and being responsive to concerns. - Instead of planting flowers along the entire length of the walking path, we have now separated the plantings into individual planting beds. - In response to safety concerns, we have changed the flower bed mix so that most plantings won’t be above three feet in height. - We will use a seed drill or similar ‘no-till’ method to plant wildflower mix. - Community should expect wildflower maturity in three to five years. 7
