Getting Started with the College Process u Know yourself, what is important to you? Start with a self-assessment u Consider factors: location, cost, social life, programs, atmosphere u Start local: visit local schools - HVCC, U. Albany, Union, Siena, RPI, Schenectady C.C., Williams, Skidmore, Cobleskill, Hartwick, New Paltz, etc. u Visit college admissions staff when they visit BCHS - see list of colleges and sign up on Naviance
