BBDouro was created in January 2012 by Diogo Barros – Olympic sailing coach and professional • sailor – with the collaborations of Tiago Morais – Olympic sailing hopeful. The only company in northern Portugal specialized in organizing events and sportive activities ; • Owner of the largest fleet of sailing boats in this area; • Skippers properly formed and trained – by the Portuguese Sailing Federation and the Portuguese • Institute of Sport - to carry out all this activities in security, and already have experience in the practicing and teaching of the sailing sport; Partnerships established with prestigious institutions; • • Representative of three brands of sailing material: Henri Lloyd - technical clothing for sailing, Alpha Ropes - cables for all types of boats and Optiparts – sailing boats material. What we do? ¡ Where we are BBDouro is located at Douro Marina, the biggest marina between Cascais and the North of Spain, a landmark in the northern region of Portugal and within walking distance from the famous Ribeira de Gaia and from the historic center of Porto. Sport Events Portfolio The northern Portugal, being a windy area, is an area of excellence for practice nautical sports, including sailing. Regarding sportive regattas, the BBDouro has assumed the organization of various events recognized not only nationally but also internationally. La Solitaire du Figaro As the name indicates, La Solitaire du Figaro, is one of the largest solitary proofs, with departing in France and has, on average, the participation of 30 boats. The BBDouro was technical partner, responsible for assembling the route and ensure all the sea logistic, in the single edition, which took place in Portugal in 2013. Extreme Sailing Series It is a world circuit, which involves some of the best sailing teams of high competition. The proofs are carried out on boats catamaran type and because they can achieve high speeds and sail very closely to the margins, they are an attraction to thousands of spectators. The BBDouro was technical partner of the three editions that took place in Portugal, with responsibility for all sea logistic and human resources.

¡ Rabelo Boats Regatta "Rabelo Boats Regatta, is realized annually, coinciding with Oporto City celebrations - June 24 - giving brightness, joy and festivity to the city and to our product: Port Wine." The BBDouro plays a key role in the race organization, appearing as a technical partner, in other words, is responsible for assembling the route and ensures the proper functioning of the event, providing all sea logistic. Match Racing ¡ Are proofs disputed in the same format of the America's Cup, queen proof of the world sailing, in which the boats compete in pairs in short-term proofs, in which the maximum objective is to use as much as possible the rules to win the duels. We highlight the participating athletes like Tamara Echegoyen and Mariana Lobato, olympic medalist and world champion respectively, for their skills demonstrated in the presence in past editions of these events, characterized by the spectacularity of occurring on the Douro River margins. Sailing Cup The Sailing Cup is already one of the greatest proofs of Yatching Regattas of Iberian Peninsula and has already occurred five editions in northern Portugal, organized by BBDouro. The Title Sponsor label of this event, was delivered in 2010 and 2011 to Nespresso, 2012 and 2013 to Quinta de Carapeços and in 2014 to Mateus Rosé. This event is included in Atlantic Circuit, composed by proofs in Baiona and Cascais and with the participation of about 30 large sailing boats, a total of more than 250 athletes involved. Was inserted in 2014, a party on the race with a social responsibility component, which part of the revenue reverts to a charitable institution.

¡ Corporate Events Portfolio BBDouro is specialized in the organization and production of corporate nautical events, specifically in Team Building programs. Sailing, for being a sport where the team is a fundamental valence, is the only nautical activity which enhances the development of a vast quantity of skills, such as individuals, teamwork, teamwork effectiveness, leadership, motivation and importance of the decision, all simultaneously.
