Online Explanatory Film NB. This script has an accompanying animatic. Open on a world of little round people. FVO: Have you ever noticed how much ID you get asked for nowadays? We focus on one of them as it produces half a dozen forms of ID from various pockets. FVO: Bank or credit card statement... gas or electricity bill... driving licence... passport... the credit card you booked with... The character is flustered, and ends up with half a dozen arms to hold them all. FVO: Well now there’s a smarter kind of ID to replace them all. The character stands normally again. FVO: The handy new national identity card. The character produces a single identity card with pride. FVO: And it uses something everybody has. A fingerprint. The character then turns into a fingerprint character. FVO: Your fingerprint can never be copied, so it protects you against ID theft. We see the character having its portrait painted. But the artist is frustrated because he can’t do it. We cut back to the fingerprint facing camera. FVO: No-one can access your information without your permission so you never reveal anything you don’t want to. In a quick cut we see it in high-heeled boots with a whip and hand-cuffs. FVO: And it’s so secure you can even use it as a passport... We then cut to a close-up of our fingerprint’s face. FVO: ...to anywhere in Europe. And when we pull back we see that the print is just one of many that make up the windows on a plane. The plane flies away and we super the logo and line. FVO: Identity... at your fingertips.
