Our staff face many exceptional and challenging situations on a day to day basis. Flooding, road traffjc collisions, fjres, extrications from building collapses and animal rescues are just a few examples of the work the Service undertakes these days. We also recognise those Service staff who have gone beyond the call of duty to save life and property and members of the public who, by their A presentation by outstanding actions, have contributed to saving lives.
