What are artefacts? • Artefacts are objects that have been made by humans. • They are often culturally or historically important. • Artefacts can tell us a lot about the past and how people lived. • Artefacts are often found by archaeologists.
Over the next 10 slides you will see a variety of artefacts, some of which are nearly 15000 years old! Try and answer the following questions for each picture. You can use the template on the website to help you. 1) What do you think the artefact is? 2) What is it made from? 3) Who would have used it?
