An armadillo is like 5.9-9. 8 in. long,5.9-9.0 tall. Brown, and black scales long claws for digging, and a long black tail. The nine-banded armadillo prefers to build burrows in moist soil near the creeks, streams, and arroyos around which it lives.

Armadillos can be found in South Carolina, but mostly in Texas. Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, lastly Florida. Armadillos can also be found in Nebraska. Only 20 armadillos are found in Latin America.
