OUR GENERAL AIM To assist and support the establishment and development of restorative justice practices in Europe. Every person in Europe should have the right of access to restorative justice services, at any time and in any case.
FORUM 15 and internal development • Working group on Values and Standards • New internal policies on financial processes, communication, board responsibilities • Business model development • Consultation with our members through a survey and an expert meeting • Work on constitution amendments
Policy related work • EU Victims’ Directive – Practice guide and seminar in Brussels • Council of Europe – PC-CP – drafting a new Recommendation on RJ • UNODC – revision of the UN Basic principles of RJ

Events in 2017
2017 in numbers • Our film for the RJ week, “A Conversation” reached 3.000 people • We launched 2 new publications and 3 newsletters • We were partner in 5 ongoing projects • We participated on more than 60 events across Europe • We (co)organized 2 seminars, 2 summer schools, one training, 3 film screenings and one expert meeting • We welcomed 58 new members • Both of our EU grant applications were successful • We sent 2-weekly newsflashes to almost 2.300 recipients… … and many more – with a staff of 2 FTE.
2018 and future strategy • Conference Tirana, CJPE summer courses • Working on standards and values • Policy work • Translating EFRJ research to practice and policy • Work on internal procedures • Projects: child victims, road traffic victims, radicalisation • 4 yrs strategy – training and services offer, ERJN, self-assessment tools, fundraising, website and design, increase human resources
