What is Allegheny Mountain Swimming? • Allegheny Mountain Swimming is one of the 59 USA Swimming Local Swim Committees (LSCs). • Allegheny Mountain Swimming is a member of the Eastern Zone. • Allegheny Mountain Swimming is governed by an elected Board of Directors led by the General Chair. All are volunteers. • Allegheny Mountain Swimming is responsible for: • registering swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers • sanctioning USA Swimming competitions held in the LSC • providing educational and competitive programs and services for coaches, athletes, clubs, officials and volunteers.

Key Strategies: • Encourage the creation of more permanent LSC offices with paid staff • Evaluate and redefine LSC roles, responsibilities, and priorities • Recognize top performing LSCs at convention.
