Coaching Philosophy ▪ My Goal is to introduce the kids to the basic concepts of soccer; dribbling, passing, shooting, team strategies, ect.. ▪ Make the process enjoyable so they can’t wait to work on their skills at practice and put on their uniforms game day. ▪ The score isn’t nearly as important as whether they are enjoying the experience with their teammates. ▪ Building a strong fundamental foundation that continues on throughout sports and life. ▪ My Coaching style is a balance of Toughness and Kindness
Sportsmanship ▪ Commitment to teaching sportsmanship as important as fundamentals. ▪ Even on days when shots don’t find the goal and the calls aren’t going our way we will work hard, play fairly, show respect toward refs and accept game results graciously. ▪ Model Behavior in the stands-No negative influences. No yelling at Opposing Officials, Players, or Coaches. No Shouting out Directions.
Playing Time ▪ Athletes are allowed the freedom to make mistakes. You can not build confidence if you get pulled out of the game every time you make a mistake.
