Alachua County Fairgrounds Previous Board Actions • The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners purchased the Weseman tract in 2006 as the future site of the relocated Fairgrounds. • May 23, 2017 ‐ The Board approved the ranking of RFP 17‐672 Construction Manager at Risk for the New Alachua County Fairgrounds. • Jan. 3, 2017 ‐ The Commission directed staff to pursue Option 2, a larger Exhibit Hall / Auditorium large enough to accommodate an indoor track and begin to solicit responses for a Construction Manager at Risk. Alachua County Fairgrounds Previous Board Actions • August 8, 2017 ‐ The Board approved the Contract between Alachua County and Ajax Building Corporation for construction of the Alachua County Fairgrounds and authorize the Chair to sign the agreement. • Sept. 26, 2017 ‐ The Board approved the ranking of RFP 17‐673 A&E Services for the New Alachua County Fairgrounds and authorize staff to negotiate an agreement with Kail Partners. • Dec. 12, 2017 – The Board approved the Contract between Alachua County and Kail Partners for A&E Services of the Alachua County Fairgrounds and authorize the Chair to sign the agreement.
