Improvements to AIS-PL network  We have finished biggest reconstruction of Polish AIS system since 2010.  We have:  replaced whole IT hardware,  replaced firmware (internal software) in all our base stations  replaced blade server machine on which works main AIS related servers AIS EWG 30 Helsinki 2019

Improvements to AIS-PL network  We have:  implemented new virtualization software: VMware vSphere 6.5 to provide high availability  implemented new 3 regional servers  our new servers work with Windows Server 2019 operating system  we have checked and improved antenna broadcast systems to improve coverage AIS EWG 30 Helsinki 2019

Improvements to AIS-PL network  We have:  replaced emergency power supplies to new ones  implemented new network managing software from SAAB TransponderTech  upgraded our own network monitoring software AIS EWG 30 Helsinki 2019

Last year we have informed about new base station in Elblag Small traffic but not easy route. New waterway is expected. Poland is planning to build artifical channel across penisula to get unrestricted access to port of Elblag. Public tender is ongoing. AIS EWG 30 Helsinki 2019

Futher development  EMSA provided document on AIS data buffering and retransmission continuity.  Could you please share your countries experience concerning AIS data buffering and retransmission issue?  Is it planned to add new functionality into proxy software? AIS EWG 30 Helsinki 2019
