Prayer Dear God, Thank you for your amazing power and work in our lives, thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Thank you for your incredible sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you've given. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you. Renew our spirits, fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Mrs Kruchten It’s important to remember that French immersion programs are designed to extend through grade 12. The skills students learn in the early grades are the building blocks for the development during the secondary years of more sophisticated thinking and communicative skills in French.
I will stay in French Immersion until grade 9, but will switch into English afterwards because it’ll be easier and I need higher grades for university.
Extended French: -Math 10 (in some schools) - French Languages Arts - Etudes Sociales

Trip to Québec 2018 Our school trip to Québec really helped our class fulfill everything about the French culture we have been taught in the classroom. Being able to put our French knowledge to use when talking to the tour guides and waiters really helped us improve not only our grammar and vocabulary skills but our confidence in speaking the language. The churches (Notre Dame Basilica, Basilica of St-Anne de Beaupré and Notre Dame des Victoires) we visited throughout our trip were so fascinating. Each one had a different history, meaning and inspiration for the intricate details the architecture put into the design of the church. We had the opportunity to attend mass in the Cathédraleof Québec City. The mass was in French so it was very different compared to mass in Calgary. At the Cabane à Sucre, we were able to experience a true Old Québécois meal. All in all, everyone on the trip was able to take something new and useful out of it. I can definitely say that this trip was not one to forget and that everyone from our class enjoyed it. Sofia 9-5
