“This is my third course and they have all been great classes. I have spent more years in class than I would like to admit but these are at the top of the list. Colleges I have attended include Xavier, University of Rhode Island, and Harvard . I would match the quality and utility of these courses against any of them!” Dave Gould (Carolina Biological Supply)
"When we embarked on our 'LEAN journey,' we knew we were all in this together, from Plant Manager to Packer, but we did not know how or where to begin. We reached out to Jeff Bright and Geoff McPherson at Alamance Community College for guidance on how to best educate our workforce on the LEAN and Six Sigma concepts. Our goal was not only to give the employees the appropriate tools but also to "raise the bar" and expectation in every role across the organization in order to empower the employees at all levels. Today, we are a safer and more productive workforce than we were two years ago. For 2013, our Mebane facility won the President's Award for Armacell world wide, in large part due to the skills that we learned at Alamance Community College." Christy H. Gliddon, SPHR Organizational Development Manager, Armacell, LLC

ON-SITE IMPLEMENTATIONS Lean Events: As part of our Kaizen initiative, we offer three to five day Lean Events facilitated by our Black Belt instructional staff at your company. These activities target ways to make improvements to a specific process in a work area in order to provide training on how to continuously improve after the activity is over. Lean Events are best used to train employees on problem solving and their role in continuous improvement. Six Sigma Events: As part of our Six Sigma initiative, we offer two-week events facilitated by our Black Belt instructional staff at your company.
