St Albert bottle depot HLZ high-speed counting and sorting system • HLZ DD with Duo-Disc Inliner and material sorting of aluminum, bimetal, clear PET,colored plastics and glass. Placed in the sorting area. • Feeds directly into compactors for aluminum and clear PET • Capacity : 2-300 containers per minute.

Customer stations for bottle depots in Alberta. Why ? At least 2 important reasons: 1. To improve customer experience 2. To minimize manual counting and sorting

First conclusion : Due to the variety of containers in the deposit system it is necessary to have a dedicated operator to operate the customer station. Second conclusion : We will use light curtains to count the difficult objects.

A few comments : The remaining unsorted 10 cent containers will for the most part • be glass bottles. They are delivered in carton packs and are taken around the machíne. • The unsorted fractions will have to be sorted manually. It is however possible to use the machine for counting of the sorted fractions. Yearly capacity from 4 to 10 million containers per year per • machine. You can always start with 1 unit and see how it works before • adding the next units.
You can start out with manual sorting and add the other • functions at a later time. With an AA customer station you will have : • First class customer service Minimum manual sorting • • No manual counting
