leadership 2 FINANCIAL DOCUMENT challenge earning the public trust - being transparent with staff, donors, and family clients - upholding laws of HIPAA - updating social media outlets
CHALLENGE #1 staff/board lacks diversity SOLUTION - recruit for a wider range of attributes and experience - including knowledge of legal practices, technology, public policy, equity, healthcare, and medical training
CHALLENGE #2 need for better organization of information on file SOLUTION - standardize diagnoses data and terminology used by social workers - delegate specific projects to certain team members to keep data consistent
CHALLENGE #3 annual gala generates 1/3 of total revenue SOLUTION - develop more revenue outlets - individual or corporate donations, hospital fundraisers, involvement with medical advocacy groups
INTERNAL CAPACITY BUILDING INTERNAL EXTERNAL - expand staff to help the - develop greater growth of the overall relationships with the organization social workers/staff in the hospitals - create cohesion between board members and - encourage donor families staff through better and clients to become communication/ more involved in Me Fine organizational efforts programs
