An inclusive wiew on heritage Human culture does not have an unchanging core Cultural plurality mirrors the complexity of society Identity and culture are based on the individual but are shaped collectively Strive towars equality before the past
Our heritage work stimulates a social debate on what kind of ”Sweden” we want to pass on to future generations • Take care of the potential of cultural heritage to enhance a sense of belonging • Create arenas that will allow different perspectives to meet and challenge eachother • Assume that in spite of the fact that we are different we all are equals before the past
Cultural heritage management of the future key to an inclusive society Offering everyone: • discussions which challenge notions of social development • prerequisites for understanding the present • the opportunity to develop social involvement, trust and community
