System Architecture 4

Network Configuration and Scenario ● Mininet hosts, switches and links are created and handled by Floodlight controller ● VLC Player is used to stream video across the network 5

Network Configuration and Scenario ● Central link is confgured with a restricted bandwidth ● While both paths are open the video stream is not negatvely afected by the restricton 6

Network Configuration and Scenario ● During the video stream a central link is brought down ● Forcing both video streams to travel over the restricted link 7

The Policy Component 8

SLA Decision ● Analyses customer context information to ensure no customers have violated Service Level Agreements ● Identifies the customer furthest from violating their SLA ● Restriction of identified customer, granting optimal bandwidth for the other stream 9

Priority Decision ● Analyses customer context information to extract customer priority status ● Customers who are not prioritised are identified ● Restriction of customers without priority, leaving the prioritised customer stream unaffected. 10
