  4. The Tool Empatico is a free tool for teachers to connect their classroom with others around the world using a combination of technology and classroom activities. The tool was developed by a team of 100+ global experts in the fields of education, technology, and child psychology. Empatico was created by teachers for teachers. Classrooms are matched through an algorithm using criteria of proximity, timezone, activity interest, and students’ ages. The Empatico site is available in English, Spanish and French. empatico.org
