9 TH GRADE! It’s time to pick your classes for 9 th Grade! High School! This presentation will walk you through your choices and give you information to bring home. You’ll be ready to talk to your family and decide what classes you want next year! **This presentation is not a substitute for reading the course guide. The course guide contains detailed information regarding your high school career.**
EHS SCHEDULE BASICS • There are 8 class periods • You will take 4 Core Classes, totaling 4 credits • ELA • Math • Science • Social Studies • 1 Language Other Than English (LOTE), totaling 1 credit • Students currently in Spanish 1, must register for Spanish 2 • 3 Additional Elective Classes, totaling 3 credits • Endorsement Courses, • Physical Education (required for graduation), • TSI/Professional Communications • Early College High School – EDUC1300

CHOICE SHEETS • Every 8 th grader will receive a choice sheet and course guide. • Your family will be able to pick yours up at the EHS parent night on February 22 st . • Be sure to fill out all the choices. • Bring it back to your EMS counselor or advisory teacher by February 24 th . • You will enter your choices online during the week of February 27 th . Your counselors will be there to help!

Ask your counselor what day you’ll be entering your course choices (2/27 or 2/28) and bring your completed choice sheet with you that day.
