HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) The School of Nursing, in accordance with the requirements of MSPP, offers a four year nursing program. Students receive a nursing license after graduation from the school and passing the government exam. To graduate, the student must take 128 credits, of which 49 are in the specialty discipline of nursing.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) We are preparing to have the program accredited by the Office for the Education of Nursing, and to be approved by the Education Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, as involved in the training of nurses throughout the territory of the Republic of Haiti.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) The School of Nursing reflects the mission statement of the Good Samaritan in Action Foundation (FBSA Haiti ), which seeks to develop nurses in the Christian context and the Liberal Arts. The mission of the High Tech Nursing School is to develop intellectual skills with a sense of responsibility for the service and to further personal development.

HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) Nursing is a profession built on the knowledge of the theory of the profession, research and practice, humanitarian sciences, and natural and behavioral sciences. It values the systematic and determined application of the nursing process to promote optimal health for clients. Support is essential for the professional practice of this discipline and includes the appreciation of human diversity and respect for the rights of others.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) Students are unique individuals that come to the nursing profession with different traits and experiences. It is the responsibility of the student to be in pursuit of knowledge and experience and to develop intellectual curiosity with a spirit of inquiry as the basis for continuous learning.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) Teaching and learning is a dynamic and interactive process, designed to integrate knowledge and research with professional nursing practice. Teaching and learning is facilitated when teachers and students are actively engaged in the process.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) Graduates of the High Tech Nursing School will be well- trained, responsible, ethical, and culturally sensitive when providing quality nursing care. The education we provide is the transfer of knowledge and experience acquired over decades by our staff of teachers. Higher education is built on undergraduate education and preparing leaders dedicated to improving nursing practices.
HIGH TECH NURSING SCHOOL(HTNS) Requirements Admission to the nursing program requires a grade point average of at least 70% of the entrance exam. Once admitted to the school of nursing, students will be required to maintain at least a 70% average in all subjects.
