An independent, statutory, advisory body The role of the Forum: CROW Act 2000: Encouraging people to enjoy and respect the countryside “ advise as to the improvement of public access t o land in the area for the purposes Representing the views of countryside users to of open-air recreation and the enjoyment Cheshire East Council and others of t he area, and as to such other matters as may be prescribed” 2
