Can all the children’s belongings please be marked clearly with their name and their entire luggage with a label showing your child’s name and the school name. The children will need to be able to carry their own luggage from the coach to their accommodation. Pocket money There is an opportunity for the children to go and visit the shop to buy sweets or souvenirs. The maximum amount of pocket money that your child should bring with you is £5.00 (it is essential that this is in small change and not a £5 note).
Items children should not bring: Food Mobile phones Electrical hand held games or music players Hair straighteners Aerosol cans Jewellery (apart from stud earrings and a watch if normally worn) Items of value or sentimental value Cameras
The designated First Aiders and will administer all medicines to children. Give as much information (written down) as possible regarding your child’s medication Children should keep their blue inhalers with them ALL other medication (inc spare inhalers) must be handed to one of the designated First Aiders on Monday morning
Arrive at school at usual time on Monday – go directly into South Hall with luggage Please put some carrier bags in the luggage for ‘wet clothes/ shoes’ Bring a packed lunch in a carrier bag Send a water bottle! Leave waterproof clothing in day bag We will leave approx 10.00, arriving at Abernant at 12.30 approx Arrival back at school at approx 4.00pm.
In the event of an emergency, you should: Contact school between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Contact Manor Adventure directly on 01584 861333. (If the office is closed, you will be redirected to the duty manager’s mobile .)
