AB 204. Hospitals: Community Benefits Plan Reporting § Standardize how nonprofit hospitals calculate and report the value of community benefits by 7/1/2020 § Prohibits hospitals from including fundraising and compliance expense in community benefit costs § Allows OSHPD to assess fines ($5,000)
AB 744. Health Care Coverage: Telehealth Reimbursement for § diagnosis, consultation, and treatment delivered through telehealth will be same as in-person visits § Effective January 1, 2021
AB 962. Hospitals: Procurement Contracts Submit report to OSHPD on its “minority, § women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprise procurement efforts” For hospitals with operating expenses of $50M § or more; operating expenses of $20M or more if part of system § Submit report by July 1, 2021

SB 382 Medi-Cal: Managed Care Health Plan § Medi-Cal patients allowed to continue to receive post-acute care services at hospital during Governor-declared state of emergency § Newsom’s veto message: bill is unnecessary
